Cancellation Policies
The below policies are considered a part of our reservation agreement with you. By making a reservation, you are agreeing to abide by the below terms, conditions, policies & procedures.
Deposits & Payments
Individual Stays: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival, at which point the reservation is paid in full and becomes non-refundable.
Payment Processing Fee: Please note that all digital transactions (Credit Card or E-transfer) are subject to a non-refundable 2.4% processing fee.
Group & Whole-Inn Bookings: To reserve the entire Inn, please contact us directly at stay@oceanwildernessinn.com.
Cancellation Policy
Direct Individual Bookings (14+ Days Notice): Your deposit is refundable, minus a seasonal administrative cancellation fee:
May – September: $225.00 + GST
October – April: $125.00 + GST
Third-Party & OTA Bookings (e.g., Booking.com): Cancellations made outside the 14-day window are subject to a fee of 25% of the total reservation value. This covers non-refundable external commissions and processing costs.
Multi-Room & Extended Stays (5+ Nights): Due to the impact on inventory, reservations involving multiple rooms or stays of 5+ nights are subject to a 25% cancellation fee regardless of booking source.
Late Cancellations (14 Days or less): Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival result in the forfeiture of the full reservation balance.
Group/Whole-Inn Bookings carry 60-day terms and a 3-night minimum stay.
